Healthcare Technology Management Tech II

Maintains clinical equipment through the effective use of the Medical Equipment Management Plan. Performs a variety of routine tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, calibration and repair of a complex medical equipment technologies and systems under minimal supervision of healthcare technology management (HTM) Supervisor and/or senior professionals.

What You Will Do

• Assesses, monitors, and functionalizes inventory management processes to ensure locations business data attributes, and detail associated to operational and safety management.
• Repairs and maintains a wide variety of general medical equipment to include high risk and critical care biomedical equipment.
• Performs scheduled and nonscheduled PM checks on general biomedical equipment to include high risk and critical care biomedical equipment.
  * Central monitoring
  * Gas modules
  * OR equipment
  * ETC
• Assist Department in the Capital planning process.
• Provide intermate level technical support to clinical staff.
• Provide technical assistance and support to HTM I.
• Intermediate knowledge of cyber security risk and requirements.
• Documents all activities as outlined within UH policies and procedure.
