Description

BlueHalo is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our team, focusing on the development and maintenance of web-based graphical user interfaces (GUI) and human-machine interfaces (HMI) for facility automation projects. This position involves troubleshooting network issues between hardware, servers, and user interfaces, ensuring seamless communication and system performance.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and maintain web-based graphical user interfaces (GUI) and human-machine interfaces (HMI) for facility automation projects.
  • Maintain and enhance back-end servers that track hardware states and manage network communications with the user interface.
  • Develop systems to validate and verify GUI screens and ensure proper integration with the back-end server.
  • Troubleshoot network issues between sensor hardware, back-end servers, and the user interface, ensuring smooth communication and functionality.


Required Skills and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain secret security clearance.
  • Proficiency in developing full-stack applications using JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js preferred; experience with Angular or React is a plus).
  • Strong experience with back-end development using C#, C++, and Visual Studio.
  • Expertise in front-end technologies such as Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SVG for dynamic and responsive UI development.
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles and Responsive Design best practices.
  • Experience with REST APIs and handling asynchronous requests.
  • Proficiency in using GitLab or GitHub for version control.


Desired Skills and Experience:



  • Familiarity with Adobe Cloud tools is a plus.
  • Experience in facility automation projects or similar industries.
  • Knowledge of network protocols and communication standards for sensor-based systems or IoT environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, capable of diagnosing and resolving issues across the full stack.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
