Location: 5901 Holabird Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21224 Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30a-5p Pay rate: $30-$35 per hour Requirements The Quality Safety Manager reports to the executive Director of Quality & Safety for Johns Hopkins Care at Home. This Quality Safety Manager position works specifically with the Home Medical Equipment and Clinical Respiratory service lines. In this position you will be responsible for managing and leading process improvement initiatives. Your primary goal will be to optimize operational efficiency and quality while reducing waste and eliminating defects. This role requires a deep understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and their application in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, independent worker with excellent communication, data analysis, and relationship building skills. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred Minimum of three years of experience leading and implementing performance improvement projects in healthcare settings Proven experience leading and implementing Lean Six Sigma initiatives in a healthcare environment, preferably in the field of home medical equipment Solid project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines Attention to detail, organizational skills, and comfort with Excel and basic reporting tools. Collaborate well with others and has good teamwork Strong knowledge and understanding of Performance Improvement principles Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive data-driven decision-making Awareness of licensing and accreditation standards Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence at all levels of the organization Johns HopkinsHealth Systemand its affiliatesare an Equal Opportunity/ Affirmative Action employers.
