Job Summary: Performs cleaning tasks to maintain facility cleanliness and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Operates cleaning equipment, sanitizes surfaces, and handles hazardous materials safely. Conducts inspections, monitors supply inventory, and reports maintenance issues. Requires prior cleaning experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Perform environmental cleaning tasks in designated areas to ensure compliance with health, safety, and cleanliness standards. Operate cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers, vacuums, and pressure washers to maintain cleanliness in facility areas. Clean and disinfect surfaces such as floors, walls, restrooms, and equipment per facility protocols. Monitor and ensure all cleaning chemicals and supplies are used safely and according to manufacturer guidelines. Conduct routine inspections to identify cleaning needs and areas requiring attention. Follow standard operating procedures for handling hazardous materials and waste, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Maintain records of cleaning activities and supply inventory. Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate team or supervisor. Assist with other duties as required by management, including cleaning or sanitizing high-touch areas and equipment. Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in environmental cleaning or janitorial services is a plus. Ability to work independently and efficiently while following company procedures and safety guidelines. Familiarity with the proper use and handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, and maintain attention to detail. Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality. Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and working with cleaning equipment for extended periods. Willingness to work second shift hours as required. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
