Staffmark is partnering with a reputable and well-established company in New Iberia, LA, to hire a dependable and hardworking Shop Helper. This is more than just a job-it's an opportunity to work with a company that values safety, supports its employees, and encourages career advancement.

As a Shop Helper, you'll play an essential role in the daily operations of the shop.

Key responsibilities include:



  • Operating a forklift
  • Washing parts and tools
  • Loading and unloading tools and equipment
  • Breaking down and rebuilding tools/equipment
  • Using a sledgehammer to assemble/disassemble chiksan joints (hammer joints)



What We're Looking For:



  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs



Shift & Pay:



  • $15.00 per hour
  • First Shift | Monday-Friday
