This position will report to our EnerSys Energy Systems business, which servesthe telecom, cable broadband, industrial, renewable, and data center markets. Job Purpose

We are now accepting applications for a Warehouse Receiving Clerk.This position is for C-shift, however; the final open shift may change based on a posted shift change. This is a Skill & Qualification position, so to be considered you must meet the minimum requirements. This is in department 19 and group IV-PS. A Warehouse Receiving Clerk manages incoming and outgoing deliveries to and from a location such as a warehouse or factory. Warehouse Receiving Clerks verify the items in the shipments, unload, load and store the items, track any damages and process returns. They are also tasked with keeping supply chains on schedule by facilitating dock scheduling, recordkeeping, and inventory control. They use a variety of technologies, including computers and tablets, to track inventory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following, but other duties may be assigned:

  • Coordinate receipt, filing and labeling accuracy of inbound bill of lading/ pack slip documents and physical inventory in the receiving process.
  • Prepare shipping documents when applicable, including out of country shipments. Insures required documents are accurately completed and maintained in an orderly file.
  • Accurately and timely completes keying of receiving entries/ PO reconciliation into SAP and facilitate efficient storage of the receipts.
  • Provides back up coverage for material handling/ staging and other warehousing tasks when assigned.
  • Must be able to operate a lift truck; and have or be able to obtain, a fork lift truck license.

Minimum Qualifications:A high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution AND at least one year experience in an administrative support role and/or shipping receiving position at a manufacturing facility or distribution center.

Computer Skills:Ability to use computer systems including MRP, Inventory Control and MS office.

Language Skills:Ability to read and comprehend basic information, instructions and correspondence in standard business English. Ability to write basic instructions and correspondence. Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Ability to create and interpret Pareto Charts, Bar Graphs, Flow Charts and other quality tools as required.
