Overview

This is a hybrid role with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office located in either Raleigh, NC or Phoenix, AZ.

As a Human Resources Service Center Generalist - Onboarding Generalist, you will be a member of the bank's HR Service Center team. This position is primarily responsible for supporting the onboarding administration program. This role will partner with key stakeholders as required. Contributes to a positive onboarding experience from reviewing background check results to entering candidate data into our onboarding systems before processing them to hire. Contributes to a positive associate experience by providing an excellent onboarding experience.


Responsibilities

  • Service - Responds to new associate journey cases as well as general hiring and onboarding cases while ensuring compliance with all applicable onboarding policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Assists in HR Service Center onboarding activities such as background check progress monitoring, communicating via case with Talent Acquisition and other COE's and ensuring complete accuracy and timely resolution of onboarding service cases. Escalates cases to appropriate parties as necessary.
  • Operational Support - Responsible for processing all new hires and internal job changes in our onboarding systems. Assists background check process team with detail for escalations when confirming approved for hire.
  • Process Knowledge - Utilizes knowledge of onboarding processes to accurately enter all candidate data provided by the Talent Acquisition team into our onboarding systems ensuring downstream processes get kicked off for new hires to onboard seamlessly. Acts as a resource to candidates, managers, recruiters on the appropriate resolution of HR onboarding matters. Provides input on process improvement and efficiency.
  • Program Support - Executes HR program and project implementation as required. Ensures successful completion of all initiatives undertaken as part of the Onboarding Advisory Team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and experience in Call Center and/or Human Resources OR High School Diploma or GED and 4 years of experience in Call Center and/or Human Resources

Preferred Areas of Experience:

  • Knowledge of Human Resources onboarding policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of Human Resources and labor laws
  • Intermediate proficiency with Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow for case and knowledge management
  • Customer service skills including strong communication skills - verbal & written
  • Detail-orientation
  • Exercises discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Team focused with the ability to work effectively in a fast paced, self-directed environment
