Position Overview QinetiQ Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Software (SW) Engineer to support the software integration, quality assurance, delivery, and sustainment of a Counter Unmanned Aerial System (c-UAS) for our Digital Night Vision Technology (DNVT) customer at Fort Belvoir VA. As a key member of the SW team, the ideal candidate will be responsible for applying Agile best practices in the management of a pre-developed, Government Owned Code Base within the Governments GitLab DevOps environment and work with fellow QinetiQ engineers and other Key Stakeholders in supporting the software and technical efforts of our Belvoir customer. Responsibilities
Support the integration of additional technologies into the digital c-UAS systems including sensor and effector systems. This includes the development of software sub-systems such as sensor data parsers, sensor action and response cores, software infrastructure support, and soldier identified user interface enhancements
