JOB DESCRIPTION:

* Under minimal supervision from the Depot Manager, performs supervisor tasks overseeing technicians that will complete device repairs and corrective maintenance for incoming and/or backlog of Engagement Skills Trainer (EST). Includes tracking of Return Material Authorizations to OEM and vendors. May be required upon notification from Depot Manager to support other devices as needed.

* Responsible for all EST repair operations oversight at the Warrior Support Center (WSC) in Louisville Ky. Oversees the day-to-day operations of the repair functions to ensure repairs for all incoming Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS), specifically EST within Contractor Performance Factor (CPF) are met.

* Repairs are made on time within quality assurance standards to meet Contractor Performance requirements. Oversees related projects and activities, manages timelines, coordinates tasks, and adjusts plans as necessary to meet objectives. Leads and manages the personnel assigned to the repair shops including recruiting, training, professional development, performance evaluation, and well-being of team members within guidelines as directed by the Depot Manager.

* Follow up on securing parts through the V2X supply chain. Tracks parts and initiates follow up, follow on action to secure bench stock to include end item components, LRU (Line Replaceable Unit). Works with Logistics and Warehouse teams to have positive control over repair process and delivery of Fully Mission Capable EST weapons, parts, components, compressors upon arrival at the WSC and return to the End-User.

* Supervises Subject Matter Expert phone calls received from the customer that will contact the Call Center, pass the call to the EST desk (SME) to receive assistance and reply in a prompt and accurate manner. Tracks all calls in a log with the proper action and/or Maximo Work Order.

* Works with the FOCUS Center Managers, Site Managers at all OCONUS, CONUS Manned and Unmanned locations to include the Field Operations Director to resource and support

EST requirements as needed to meet repair standards, return of repaired items in accordance with contractual requirements to meet Contractor Performance Factor.

* Maintenance is performed following technical manuals and repair checklists. Follows and adheres to the Quality Management, quality assurance plan for EST.

* Ensures compliance within ATF guidelines and security measures.

* Records all maintenance activities in real-time in InSITE / Maximo.

* Oversight of device set up and TADSS testing to confirm they are Fully Mission Capable, Ready For Training, including interoperability and operation verification.

* Monitors hardware baselines, reverting to previous versions if updates fail. Monitors software and participates upon direction from the Depot Manager to install and/or test.

* Adheres to warranty terms for maintained items, tracking them by part number, serial number, and location.

* Oversees modifications or upgrade as per manufacturer's instructions and required.

* Develops equipment and system test plans. Oversight of using common test equipment (e.g. digital and Ethernet test sets, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power meters/analyzers).

* Drafts and edits minutes, documents, letters, and other communications.

Education/ Experience:

(2 +BA/BS or 1+MA/MS) or (4 +AA) or (6+No Degree).

Required Experience:

*Experience collecting data to support program reporting.

*Experience inputting and updating data in InSITE or other MIS Suite.

*Experience maintaining accurate program records and files.

*Experience leveraging templates for efficient project tracking and reporting.

*Experience managing calendars and scheduling appointments and meetings.

*Experience drafting and editing meeting minutes, documents, letters, and other communications.

*Experience performing programmatic analysis, research, and data gathering as needed to meet ad hoc requests.

*Experience compiling and preparing findings and reports as needed.

*Experience coordinating employee training sessions.

*Experience providing solicited and unsolicited recommendations and status updates.

*Experience helping to establish or monitor milestones, progress, issues and problems, and remedial plans and actions in coordination with the program team as appropriate.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
