Consultant (Multiple Positions Available) Develop test designs based on the requirements. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities. Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs. Create Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Perform end-to-end testing for all functionalities when the code is moved from one environment to another and report any issues to respective teams. Gather and investigate product specifications and technical design documents to identify system requirements and create a detailed comprehensive and well-structured test strategy, test plan, test scenario, test case, test script, and bug report. Design, develop, and execute performance, load and automation scripts. Identify, record, document, and track bugs. Monitor debugging process results and perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. Investigate causes of non-conforming software. Research, test, and verify proper functioning of software patches and fixes. Develop defect reports, test metrics and test closure documents. Track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. Track progress of the test execution in the test management system and provide recommendations for improvement. Utilize Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) tools for development and deployment of test automation solutions. Provide regular test status reports to management. May be assigned to and provide products/ support to specific industry groups such as automotive, banking and finance, healthcare, insurance, and Information Technology. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related. Five (5) years of any occupation with Information Technology experience, or related. Five (5) years of required IT, or related experience must include: Selenium; Object Oriented Programming Languages such as: Java, or Python; SQL; Version Control Systems such as: GIT, or SVN; Operating Systems such as: UNIX, or Linux; Jenkins or other CI/CD tool; JIRA or other test management tool. ROVING/TELECOMMUTING EMPLOYEE: Reports to company headquarters in Plano, TX. Will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time.
