Housekeeper (Multiple Vacancies)

Some knowledge of cleaning procedures, ability to follow instructions and to perform medium to heavy physical work; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Special certification may be required for some of these positions. To maintain the appearance of the Plemmons Student Union, which involves the cleaning of PSU meeting rooms, restrooms, floors and public areas. Work of this nature involves the use of cleaning agents and related cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, carpet/upholstery extractors.

Prior housekeeping & custodial experience preferred

Monday through Friday 2 pm - 11 pm. Occasional weekend work is required.

The nature of the position is manual and requires a great deal of physical effort to accomplish the position's various cleaning responsibilities. Physical effort includes the use of supplies and materials, and the movement of various cleaning equipment.
