GENERAL FUNCTION
The Materials Handler works closely with the Management team to plan, prioritize and execute the flow of deliveries to ensure the success of the day-to-day operations of the North America After Sales Department.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists the leadership team in planning, organizing and coordinating the flow of work for all Wholesale functions.
- Performs group functions including releasing, labeling, reprinting and researching carts that are unable to be processed.
- Maintains and resolves Error Log and provides daily status updates.
- Monitors and works with North American System Support to resolve errors
- Assists Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor with pulling data and running reports.
- Assists Supervisor/Associates with validating inventory discrepancies.
- Assists with investigating and tracking late or lost packages.
- Assists in training and cross training of associates.
- Assists with special projects and additional duties assigned.
- Collaborate with customer service on resolving errors
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years performing diversified duties within the Wholesale department or a comparable Distribution environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills both written and oral
- Proficient in using in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as requested by Supervisor and Manager
- Ability to work in a combination of seated, walking or standing position for up to 10 hours
- GED or High School diploma
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience in problem solving and issue resolution
- Clerical Support experience including but not limited to utilization of Excel, Outlook and Word
- Bachelor Degree
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
