Pay From: $70 per hour

MUST:

Experienced MRI Technologist

Must have 1 plus years of experience as an MRI Technologist

Must have hold an ARRT or a ARMRIT certification

Must have a current CPR

Must have experience working on Siemens Equipment

Must have hospital experience as an MRI technician

DUTIES:

MRI Technologist will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

Answering questions about the procedure

Positioning patients according to established protocols

Adjusting equipment as needed to produce high-quality images

Evaluating images to make sure they meet the ordering provider's requirements

Entering data into electronic medical records

Operating MRI scanners and ensuring images are high-quality and useful for diagnosis

Collaborating with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure the production of high-quality imaging results

Preparing and educating patients, reviewing medical histories, and ensuring the proper documentation of patient information related to the imaging procedure

Assessing and positioning patients for procedures while attending to their needs during imaging

Applying knowledge of MRI safety practices, including patient safety, equipment safety, and magnetic field safety protocols

Ensuring that appropriate contrast agents, if required, are administered and documenting activities related to their use, in line with state and institutional policies
