Operations Manager Location(s): Minneapolis, MN, US, 55430 Function: Manufacturing Audience: Experienced Professional Work Arrangement: On Site Requisition ID: 64612 SUMMARY The Operations Leader is responsible for the Operational Performance of the Minneapolis facility. Responsibilities including the safety of employees, product quality, volume, cost, and training and development within the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) system The Operations Leader is accountable for building an engaged workforce characterized by mutual trust, open communication, teamwork, and recognition that positively impacts the plant performance. The Operations Leader will lead with a clear view of where the organization needs to be in alignment to the plant's mission of driving zero losses while consistently delivering results, leading with a decision making approach that models and teaches the proper inclusion of analytics, team ideas and personal experiences, communicate in a way that positively shapes customer, team member and community action, and build the OC talent pipeline by growing all team members and recruiting the best of the best. Span of control: Four (4) salaried direct reports; 62 hourly indirect reports across four shifts. PRINCIPAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Accountable for employee safety
