Job Description
The Nursing Analyst Coordinator owns and operationalizes the Emergency Department's performance dashboard (i.e., productivity, patient satisfaction, quality, and throughput metrics); tracks and trends ED statistics; compiles detailed analysis to determine the root cause behind suboptimal results; serves as the EDIS expert for other ED staff; and facilitates communication between the IT department and the ED on all technology-related needs. In addition, the position is responsible for aggregating and analyzing data based on requests from senior leadership, physicians, hospital management, and staff; maintains compliance with regulatory agency requirements; processes time and attendance ED staff members; assists with staff scheduling; supports the ED Director and Clinical Manager; and schedules and attends meetings (e.g., Patient Status and Flow, ED Physician Quarterly Staff Meeting; and ED Charge RN and Department meetings).
