Cognizant is seeking a Microsoft Office 365 Specialist. This is a remote opportunity. Candidates can work anywhere in the US and must have valid work authorization.

The salary range for this role is between $116,000 and $133,500 depending on experience and qualifications of the candidate.

We are looking for a seasoned Microsoft O365 migration specialist with tenant to tenant migration experience. The person also should have experience in supporting legacy on-prem exchange environments. The role requires expertise in Azure AD, O365 migrations, hybrid environments to ensure a smooth migration .

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute Microsoft 365 (M365) tenant migration, including Exchange Online, Teams
• Implement secure cross-tenant collaboration strategies for seamless access and communication
• Handle the migration of user identities and access rights, ensuring a seamless transition for users and maintaining security and permissions
• Set up and configure Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) in the target tenant, including synchronizing users, groups, and attributes from the source tenant
• Plan and execute the migration of email data, distribution groups, and other messaging-related components between the source and target tenants
• Handle the migration of Microsoft Teams, channels, chats, and associated files, ensuring seamless collaboration for users in the target tenant.

* Responsible for mail routing and ensuring email security.

* Post-implementation support

Qualifications:

• 10 plus years of experience in messaging environments.

* Proficiency in using PowerShell scripting for administration and migrations.

* Ability to diagnose incidents and troubleshoot during the migration process.

* Experience with Hybrid Exchange Deployments.

* Tier 3 support for Exchange Online and MS Teams.

* Experience with on-premise Exchange Server 2016 or 2019.

* Email gateway troubleshooting.

* Email security - DMARC, DKIM, and SPF.

* Strong proficiency in Exchange Online management.

* Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory is required to support the messaging infrastructure.

* An understanding of networking basics and information delivery over the network.
