Consumers Credit Union (CCU) is adding a new Sales Operations Specialist to the Sales team! This is a great opportunity for someone who stives to cultivate a high level of member engagement by delivering a personalized, seamless, and easy experience as a trusted financial partner.

Schedule/Location: This position offers a hybrid work schedule where some of your work week will be onsite at our modern and amenities driven Lake Forest office location and the rest will be spent working remotely.

As a Sales Operations Specialist, you'll be responsible for welcoming and onboarding all new members both direct and through indirect partnerships. Also, you will answer inbound and outbound phone calls related to loan applications and maintenance, processes loan due date changes, assists with onboarding new members who have recently closed loans, and manages the SCRA. You will provide exceptional service to our members while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Main duties and responsibilities:



  • Seeking opportunities to proactively discuss and sell loan and ancillary products based on an understanding of the members' financial needs.
  • Proactively reviews member credit reports in order to identify opportunities to educate on products that align with the members' financial needs.
  • Provides exceptional member service to members, promptly and effectively addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requests.
  • Collaborates with other departments, such as loan officers and underwriters, to resolve complex loan-related issues and ensure a seamless member experience.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of member interactions, loan modifications, and SCRA/MLA processes in the credit union's systems and databases.
  • Remains up to date on industry regulations, compliance requirements, and internal policies related to loan maintenance, member onboarding, and SCRA/MLA processes.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and streamline member experiences within the Sales Operations department.


Qualifications



  • High School Diploma or Equivalent - Minimum
  • 2+ years' experience in sales, customer service, insurance, financial institutions - Preferred
  • Must be self-directed, ambitious, and comfortable in a highly goal-driven environment, with a passion for sales that make an impact!
  • Interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to educate members on products and services and cross-sell with a needs-based approach
  • Time management, organizational, follow up skills, and the ability to process paperwork in an efficient and accurate manner
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Loan Origination Systems or related.
  • Availability to work 40 hours/week and be scheduled between the following hours:

    • Monday - Friday: 8AM - 6PM



Compensation & Benefits:

Budgeted amount for hourly rate is $22. Position is eligible for sales incentives.
