SUMMARY

Principal in maintaining, reporting and educating on productivity at Grady. Conducts routine to moderate operational or financial analysis in the areas of process improvement, productivity standards development, performance monitoring, and resource allocation and scheduling. Analyzes all aspects of hospital management and operations for potential improvement opportunities and works closely with Business Transformation. This position requires a self-starter who has the ability to manage multiple priorities and to work with limited supervision on assigned projects and activities. The individual must demonstrate tact and diplomacy in situations of conflict and controversy and must have excellent communication and presentation skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Health Systems Engineering, Health Care Administration, Business, Finance, a health-related profession, or another related field.

- Four (4) or more years of job-related experience

- Previous experience in management engineering, industrial engineering, operations improvement, CQI activities, or health care consulting.

- Working knowledge of productivity systems and labor standard development.

- Experience with Position Control Reports

- Proficient in the use and application of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
