Critical Systems Tech Professional

V2X is growing! V2X is looking for a Critical Systems Tech Professional to join our team!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Technical Professional with Audio/Video (A/V) and broadcast experience to support the NBL maintaining and upgrading current systems.
• Inspect, test fit, and install existing and new hardware.
• Perform Engineering design, integration, and project management as needed.
• Collaborate with the NBL Critical Systems A/V team to resolve any design issues.
• Maintain mandatory trainings status.
• Mentor and train junior employees as needed.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

• 5 years of experience within the NBL or on a government contract.
• Excellent knowledge of NBL video system, CATV and camera control system.
• Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
• Decision making ability and team leadership skills that pertain to project management.
• Time management and organization skills
• SCUBA diving certification or willingness to obtain one is preferred.
• Familiar with NBL/NASA rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards is a plus.
• Requires advanced knowledge of A/V systems typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
• Practical to substantial knowledge of NBL Critical Systems projects, programs, or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
