Job Summary:
This position will manage projects that advance agroecology and organic research and outreach at UW-Madison, Department of Plant and Agroecosystem Sciences including: a) managing the development of an Agroecology Ph.D. program; b) in conjunction with the Organic Trade Association, manage the Organic Ag Outlook Forum and National Organic short course initiative; and c) manage UW Organic Collaborative Efforts including outreach efforts under the direction of Professor Erin Silva. The position will also coordinate national outreach efforts of the UW sweet corn breeding program, under the direction of Professor Bill Tracy. Responsibilities: Manages multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish or one large project impacting the institution at-large under general supervision.
