Medical Technologist

Job Overview: Performs clinical laboratory testing in the areas of Blood Bank, Chemistry, Coagulation, Hematology, and Microbiology according to established policies and procedures,

Reports all tests promptly, accurately, and efficiently in order to assist in diagnosis and treatment,

Maintain quality assurance and quality control policies and procedures to ensure validity of test results,

Utilize critical thinking skills to solve problems, evaluate aberrant patient results, and recognize factors that may affect measurements and results,

Consistently follows all required laboratory safety and chemical hygiene plans to ensure a safe working environment,

Work effectively as a team member within the department to provide quality service through communication, cooperation, and collaboration,

Qualifications:
