At Mesa Labs we offer competitive wages, including potential bonus opportunities, equity awards, commission, and a comprehensive benefits package based on the position.

Base Compensation Range: $67,021 - $80,000
*In addition, you qualify for:



  • Annual equity award of $6,000
  • Commission target of $50,000

Our Calibration Solutions portfolio uses the principles of advanced metrology to enable customers to measure and calibrate critical parameters in applications such as Environmental and Process Monitoring, Dialysis, Gas Flow, Air Quality, and Torque Testing.

Job Summary

Mesa Labs is looking for a Technical Account Manager, to join our sales team. This person will be part of a team of cross product line sales representatives that strategically engage and recruit new Regional strategic partnerships and develop incremental revenue. We are currently looking for a sales professional with a technical background to work with our end-users customers. The ideal candidates should have 8+ years sales experience in the industrial sector selling technical solutions - preferably with a focus on data loggers, electrical or gas flow instrumentation applications. The role reports to the Global Sales Manager.

Duties/Responsibilities



  • Actively promote MesaLabs products to achieve sales quota by building rapport, providing training and support, and making end user calls in their assigned region.
  • Work with Marketing team to create customized deliverables that meet partners specific needs in the market.
  • Performs quarterly business review with key strategic customers and dedicated account management team to ensure partner growth and performance targets are met.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
  • Utilize NetSuite/SalesForce.Com to ensure activities are documented properly, opportunities are forecasted accurately and adequate information regarding the prospect and/or opportunity is communicated.
  • Comply with company ethics, code of conduct, policies, and best practices, with a commitment to safety in the workplace, valuing of diversity, and promotion of a harassment-free environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.


Experience/Education:



  • Must have 5+ years of experience selling into and managing Strategic Customers with nationwide presence.
  • Bachelor's Degree or demonstrated experience within a related field.


Knowledge and Skillsets Required:



  • Experience collaborating cross-departmentally with Product Marketing, Services, Revenue, Legal, Product and Executive Leadership
  • Ability to manage sales process and proven ability to meet set sales quotas and performance metrics
  • Exceptional presentation and verbal communication skills, strong presence
  • Proven track record of above-plan performance in Industrial, Technology, or capital equipment industries.
