Job Description

Vanir Development Company is currently looking for a Property Manager. The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day operations of the multiple properties including lease administration and maintenance and repair.

Job Description

    Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Oversee lease agreements, renewals, and terminations. Ensure compliance with lease terms and conditions.
  • Schedule and supervise maintenance and repairs. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, collect rent, and handle financial reporting. Monitor and control expenses.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants. Show properties to prospective tenants and manage the leasing process.
  • Assist in identifying and acquiring new properties. Conduct market research and analysis to support acquisition decisions.
  • Ensure properties comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Stay updated on property management laws and best practices.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and service providers. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of employees within designated area. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years' experience in property management of a commercial real estate is required
  • 1-2 years of previous commercial real estate experience with increasing responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of finance and building operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, and ideally Yardi
  • Professional and exceptional leadership, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Must have very good oral and written communications skills
  • Strong customer service skills required

Offered rate of compensation will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including education, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The Salary range for this position is $119,000.00-$150,000.00 .
