SummaryEvaluates electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, or other hardware systems and/or electrical engineering applications. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results. Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability. Review production and vendor capability to support product. Job Description This role provides engineering support to manufacturing operations, ensuring smooth production while driving yield and process improvements. Responsibilities include troubleshooting production issues, analyzing yield data, identifying root causes of defects, and implementing corrective actions. The engineer will optimize processes, reduce waste, and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, R&D, Operations) to enhance product quality and efficiency. Key tasks involve root cause analysis, process validation, equipment optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/Six Sigma). The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, manufacturing process knowledge, and experience in yield enhancement. Experience Level with Business Tools Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired. Education and Experience B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience) 2+ years of related experience or master's degree with no or little experience.
