DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, your main responsibilities will involve receiving, researching, and completing changes to driver records related to sanction activity. These sanctions may include points for traffic violations, as well as suspensions, revocations, cancellations, recalls, and disqualifications of driving privileges. Work involves processing change requests that come from various sources such as courts, PennDOT legal staff, other departments within Driver and Vehicle Services, mail, counter customers, phone calls, and referrals from the PennDOT Call Center. Within this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure all sanctions are applied correctly and in compliance with the PA Vehicle Code, PA Crimes Code, and the regulations set by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Additionally, you will manually process court-related information that cannot be updated automatically in the driving records system. This includes entering all deletions, corrections, recalculations, and rescissions of sanctions received from the PA court system or out-of-state courts for PA residents due to appeals or other court actions. Finally, you will handle requests from PennDOT legal staff to make adjustments to driver records, indicating that sanctions have been appealed or that appeals of sanctions have been dismissed. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- AWS (alternate work schedule) is not available.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
