Cognizant is looking to hire a motivated and energetic .Net Software Architect who's passionate about software modernization, and individual who design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET Core.

Job Location: Los Angeles California

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET Core.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

* Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

* Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

* Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

* Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures.

* Implement and manage Azure cloud services, including Azure SQL Database, Azure App Services, and Azure Functions.

* Design and develop RESTful APIs and ensure their scalability and security.

* Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Key Qualifications:

* 14+ years of experience

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

* Proven experience as a .NET Core Developer.

* Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with SQL Server.

* Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services.

* Expertise in designing and developing APIs.

* Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Strong communication and teamwork skills.

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

The annual salary for this position is between $138,000.00 - 158,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
