Title: HR Generalist
Location: Vinings, GA (On-Site 5x Daily)
Compensation: $70,000-75,000/year + Bonus

Vaco is currently partnering with an exciting, growing client seeking an HR Generalist for the team. This individual will manage various human resources functions to support the company's real estate operations. This role will oversee recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and HR policies while ensuring a positive and productive work environment. The HR Generalist will work closely with our HR consulting partner to foster a strong company culture and support business objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assists in the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Supports employee relations by addressing inquiries, handling conflict resolution, and ensuring a positive workplace environment.
  • Administers benefits programs, including enrollment, employee communication, and resolving issues with vendors.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Manages and updates employee records, HRIS systems, and documentation.
  • Oversees performance management processes, including evaluations, coaching, and development initiatives.
  • Assists in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates training and development programs to support employee growth and business objectives.
  • Monitors and handles leave management, including FMLA, disability, and PTO tracking.
  • Supports payroll processing by ensuring accurate timekeeping and compliance with wage regulations.
  • Reviews with HR partner exit interview data and analyzes feedback for improving retention strategies.

Required Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, policies, and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong employee relationships.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to addressing HR issues.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills for reporting and compliance tracking.

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • 4-5+ years of experience in HR, preferably within the real estate or property management industry.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
  • Previous experience working with HR software and payroll systems, specifically Paylocity.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
