Job Title: Business Analyst - AI & Automation

Location(s): Gaithersburg, MD

Description:

We are seeking a Business Analyst with expertise in AI-driven automation and cybersecurity playbooks. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to review, optimize, and structure response plans, process procedures, and automation playbooks. This role will focus on integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) with Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) systems to enhance threat detection and response workflows.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Analyze and refine incident response playbooks to align with high-end automation frameworks.
  • Assess existing documentation stored in Confluence and streamline it for efficiency.
  • Work with AI engineers to leverage LLMs for playbook optimization and output drafting.
  • Develop business requirements and process documentation to facilitate AI-driven automation in security operations.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure seamless integration of AI-powered playbooks into SIEM and SOAR platforms.
  • Support the training and implementation of LLMs on structured incident response data.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to document and enhance AI-driven automation use cases.


Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT, cybersecurity, or AI-driven automation.
  • Strong understanding of SOAR, SIEM, and cybersecurity incident response frameworks.
  • Experience in documenting and optimizing response procedures and automation workflows.
  • Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and their application in security operations.
  • Proficiency in Confluence, JIRA, and other documentation tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
