The Administrative Security Coordinator provides general and detailed support to the Facility Security Officer (FSO), Project Managers, Superintendents, and other key personnel. The Administrative Security Coordinator is responsible for the support and coordination of security access to multiple job sites accurately and in a timely manner. This role is responsible for efficiently processing all security issues for the General Contractor, all Subcontractors, Suppliers, and Vendors in a timely manner so they may obtain access to the Projects. This role has the potential to evolve.

The role's standard work hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, which includes a one-hour lunch break. Employees are expected to adhere to this schedule, ensuring punctuality and productivity throughout the working day.

Practical Experience

A minimum of one (1) year of administrative experience in a mid to large-size organization. Previous experience supporting multiple functions/departments.

Technical Qualifications or Specialized Certification


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in internet research and the use of office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, and postage machines.

Preferred Education and Experience


  • An associate or bachelor's degree is preferred but not necessary.
  • Previous experience with the administration of secure buildings.
  • Construction experience is highly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


  • Knowledge of project management software (Procore, SharePoint)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must have a strong sense of urgency
  • Must be able to work well under stress, despite interruption
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects at one time with different security requirements
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with peers, site executives, and Government officials
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Security Clearance


  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be willing to obtain TS/SCI Clearance and submit appropriate paperwork after 60-days of start date.
