JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Under the supervision of a Weed Management Technical Specialist, assist in conducting of field trials and greenhouse studies in the subject of weed management for Turf & Ornamental market.
* Implement and maintain herbicide in both field trials and greenhouse studies.
* Lay out field trials based on described design and collaborate with field maintenance team to ensure proper management of trial areas during course of assessment.
* Assist with Weed Management Technical Specialist for trial assessment and data collection.
* Grow and maintain turfgrass and ornamental plants in greenhouses to support successful implementation of herbicide plant safety and efficacy trials.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's Degree or Associate's degree in agricultural or horticultural sciences (focus/concentration in weed science preferred).
* Prior experience in conducting biological field experimentation in pest management (university or industry).
* Understanding basic principles of scientific studies.
* Ability to interpret and implement field study instructions.
* Attention to details with ability to recognize and communicate observations.
* High level of integrity and work ethics.
* Ability to complete solo tasks as well as collaborating with colleagues in a team environment.
* Basic computer skills including Windows & Microsoft Office.
* Good understandings of basic math, geometry concept and unit systems.
* Must be able to perform physical work in greenhouses and field conditions.
