The Marketing Specialist will join the Optum Senior Community Care marketing team and support the marketing efforts for two UnitedHealthcare health plans dedicated to supporting the needs of older adults living in nursing homes and senior living facilities. This position in involved in both B2B and B2C marketing strategies to grow awareness for our plans and drive member acquisition.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with experience working in direct marketing and reporting. You will work in close collaboration with multiple partners, including marketing, creative, analytics and product. Must be a well-organized, highly motivated, self-starter with a passion for communicating and driving results. The ideal candidate should thrive on proactively seeking new insights, finding creative solutions and measuring results.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Manage the tracking and reporting of direct-to-consumer and B2B marketing efforts and make recommendations based on insights
  • Support campaign execution, including management of technical requirements and asset development
  • Build collaborative partnerships with cross-functional business partners and vendors. Communicate proactively to manage expectations, project timelines, and logistics

Required Qualifications:



  • 1+ years of Marketing experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of campaign analytics and reporting; prior work analyzing campaign performance
  • Project management and communication skills to influence and work collaboratively with cross-functional partners
  • Proven excellent organizational skills with a good sense of prioritization



Preferred Qualification:



  • Health care industry experience
  • Experience working with paid media and executing digital and direct mail marketing campaigns
  • Experience working with internal creative teams and/or agency partners
  • Experience within a matrix organization
  • Experience with a project management tool, such as WorkFront
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint



The hourly range for this role is $28.61 to $56.06 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
