Responsibilities
This Opening is for 1st shift. (07:00 a.m.to 3:00 p.m.) Will work rotating weekends and may require overtime with little notice. Internal candidates will be considered and interviewed first.
Work under general supervision to verify and correctly ship castings, etc., according to verbal and written instructions. Must be able to have all shipments ready and able to go on time, sometimes working with last minute instructions. All shipments must be correctly packaged and shipped according to schedule. Accept, verify and distribute to appropriate destinations all material and hardware as required by general supervision and established procedures. Position requires flexible hours in order to meet business needs.
- Using Computers (entering information, etc)
- Must be able to read and interpret Product Criteria (PC) and Activity Instructions (AI).
- Must be able to function as a member of a team and be able to work under general supervision.
- Must be able to maintain expected quality levels.
- Comply with all site required policies and procedures including but not limited to: EHS, Quality, Code of Conduct and the Wichita Falls Employee Handbook.
- Load outgoing materials.
- Unload incoming materials.
- Expedite delivery and/or distribution of material.
- Properly label and package all shipments.
- Confirm carrier manifest.
- Prepare and distribute receiving reports.
- Label and identify materials for storage.
- Store and warehouse material in designated areas by rotation method.
- Secure and maintain accountability for items purchased.
- Knowledgeable about regulations concerning hazardous materials.
- Coordinate with Lab for release or disposition of material.
- Familiar with plant layout to insure items are delivered to the appropriate location.
- Familiar with departmental structure to insure items are delivered as requested
- Prepare shipments.
- Arrange storage as required.
- Maintain a safe, clean work area.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Complies with all EHS rules related to the work environment.
- Works Overtime as needed.
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH AND SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Comply with all department, facility, corporate and regulatory EHS regulations.
- Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE). (Requires wearing safety glasses, earplugs, gloves, Metal tarsal shoes).
- Report all job-related illness and injuries (Per Employee Handbook).
- Report all safety, health and environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.
- Attend all EHS training.

2. Training:
- One to three months on-the-job training.
- Completed Training Folder.
3. Equipment Used:
- Mobile Equipment
- Walk behind forklifts
- Pallet Jack
4. Work Environment: (Chemical and Physical Exposures)
- May be exposed to noise, oil, dust, fumes, chemicals, heat and cold.
- Occasionally exposed to heat or cold conditions while loading and unloading trucks on the dock and loading cardboard on the mezzanine.

Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Good typing, math, and computer skills - (excel, access, word).
- OHCMS2.0 knowledge.
- Knowledgeable in import/export regulations
- Previous experience in warehouse work and forklift driving.
