UDR, Inc. is now hiring an Administrative Assistant to join our team at our corporate office. GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Collaborates and provides multi-faceted, professional administrative support to Company's Legal and Facilities teams. Responsible for sharing in front-end reception duties, mailings, supply inventory and replenishment, in addition to performing a wide range of clerical tasks, some of which require strict confidentiality. SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to the Director - Corporate Compliance SUPERVISION EXERCISED: N/A ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Office and Reception 1. Serves as first point of contact for the organization, screening and directing incoming calls and greeting visitors in person. Completes security procedures as required including badging and visitor passes. 2. Receives, sorts, and distributes incoming mail. Collects and processes outgoing mail. Operates postage machine and other mailroom equipment as needed. Responsible for large company mailings. 3. Responsible for ordering, maintaining, and creating corporate office new hire nameplates, packets, and desk kits. Responsible for setting up desks for new hires. Work closely with Facilities team on corporate office employee changes. 4. Performs general office duties including but not limited to the following:

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Occasionally lifting items weighing up to 30 lbs. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports. Extensive data input and required ability to sit for long periods of time. Regular and consistent attendance on the job is an essential function. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment. Occasional evening or weekend work. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 1. High School Diploma, or equivalent, is required. 2. Bachelor's or Associate's degree in business administration or equivalent is preferred. 3. Minimum of five years' related experience in an administrative/secretarial position. 4. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license unless otherwise noted. Benefits Offered:
