Overview:

Sentara is hiring a Manager, Surgical Services for Sentara Obici Hospital, in Suffolk, Virginia.

Overview

Assume responsibility and accountability for operations and success. Responsible for the delivery of high quality services which meet or exceed customer expectations. Position is responsible for safe management of patients throughout perioperative experience. Serve as mentor by role modeling a professional practice consistent with surgeon expectations, organizational goals, customer service, clinical effectiveness, patient safety and clinical standards of care.

Master's level degree in nursing preferred.

Education

  • BSN REQUIRED
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or MBA or MHA preferred
  • Completion of a Perioperative Program or Surgical Program preferred

Certification/Licensure

  • Current RN License in Virginia REQUIRED
  • BLS preferred
  • ACLS preferred
  • PALS preferred
  • CNOR preferred

Experience

  • 3 Years OR Experience REQUIRED
  • 3 years Leadership Experience REQUIRED
  • 5 or more years related experience strongly preferred

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$101,483.20-$169,124.80Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
