Job Title: Accounts Payable/Receivable

Location: AlumaCraft Boats Inc

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 annually

Exempt Status: This position is classified as non-exempt under Minnesota law, meaning it is subject to overtime and minimum wage requirement

Job Summary: This position responsible for overseeing and executing the accounts payable processes, and may assist with accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the Accounts Payables and assist with Accounts Receivable.

* Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

* Review and enter vendor invoices for payment.

* Match receipts to invoices and resolve any discrepancies.

* Communicate with vendors and customers to resolve payment discrepancies and inquiries.

* Maintain up-to-date documentation for all processes within the A/P department.

* Apply incoming payments promptly upon receipt.

* Reconcile and apply unapplied payments in a timely manner.

* Minimize the number of payment voids and reapplications.

* Support billing, invoicing, statements, and manual credit/debit processes.

* Assist in the reconciliation of customer accounts.

* Maintain accurate and current records of all financial transactions.

* Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts.

* Assist with invoicing and financing approvals from floorplan companies.

* Assist in month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries.

* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.

* Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

* Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

* Able to meet tight deadlines and cope with changes.

* Capable of handling multiple tasks while maintaining focus on deliverables.

* Capacity to work autonomously with some direction.

* Attention to detail and accuracy and strong analytical skills.

* Team-oriented working attitude.

* Good communication skills.

* Strong customer orientation (service-minded).

* Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.

* Associate degree or degree in progress preferred.

* Background in finance, accounts payable responsibilities preferred (minimum of 3 years'

experience).

* Computer literate with excellent command of MS Office.
