Apply Now Company: Compumeric Job Location: Ontario, CA Work Setting: In-Person Pay Rate: $22-24/hourly, based on experience Summary Compumeric engineering is seeking a CNC AMADA press brake set-up operator. The ideal candidate will be skilled in perform set-ups, reading blueprints, using a tape measure and calipers, and can perform set-ups on multiple machines including CNC Bystronic press brake. We're looking for a long-term candidate who is capable to lead the brake area assigning setup and controlling production floor job orders. Competencies Analytical Decision-Making Communication Learning & Development Planning & Organizing Professionalism & Integrity Risk-Taking/Creative Thinking Teamwork & Relationship-Building Results Orientation Will prepare set-up and assign press break work for co-workers Education and/or Experience 3+ years of manufacturing experience with CNC press brake machine set-ups. Travel NO travel required Computer Skills Computer interaction with CNC AMADA/Bystronic brake press. Other Requirements Must read blueprints and perform shop math to fabricate various parts Ability to use handheld measuring tools including a tape measure and calipers Experience with gauging thickness of material Ability to operate multiple machines: shear, punch, rollers, CNC press brake (Amada and Bystronic) Accurate and efficient set-up of machines in accordance with proper set-up techniques Properly operate machine to run efficiently, produce quality products and maximize machine utilization Maintain quality requirements in accordance with company standards Responsible for reporting all quality defects Accurately fill out all required paperwork Perform daily housekeeping to ensure the work area is always clean and organized A flexible schedule is required in regard to overtime and start time according to work volume Other duties and responsibilities as required Other Skills Must speak Spanish. (Bilingual English/Spanish). Forklift certification is a plus.
