How you will make history here... The R&D Scientist, based in Camden, NJ, will directly support the Canadian Retail Division in the development and execution of new product designs that meet well-defined business propositions. The successful candidate will be able to fully understand and explain the importance of basic scientific principles as well as experimental design, and then clearly manage and communicate results to project teams. The research work involves, but is not limited to, new processing technologies, new ingredients, thorough understanding of current shelf-stable processing technologies and procedures, and consumer testing and validation. (Portfolio may include anything from Meals & Beverages to Snacks). The individual in this role will work with minimal supervision to execute these objectives and must possess an excellent knowledge base of technical principles and experimentation with creative problem-solving skills. The position requires partnering with Marketing, Supply Chain, Quality, Packaging, Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations throughout the development and commercialization process. This position will report directly to Senior Program Manager R&D, Canada. What you will do... 45% - With minimal supervision, develop and manage technical timelines and activities for multiple product development projects.
40% - Proactively apply scientific knowledge and/ or technical skills to business continuity issues/ opportunities.
15% - Work with Marketing to identify and build concepts against new products and/or platforms.

Compensation and Benefits: The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $73,500-$105,700Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
