Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and monitoring the production line, ensuring efficient operations and meeting production goals. Duties include scheduling staff, preparing reports, analyzing production runs, investigating incidents, and collaborating with other managers to identify and implement improvements. The ideal candidate should have a degree, relevant manufacturing and supervisory experience, strong leadership and communication abilities, and proficiency with computers and software such as Excel, Word, and SAP.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and monitor production line tasks.
• Schedule/assign subordinate staff tasks to meet production goals and objectives.
• Prepare and submit data for production reporting.
• Prepare daily production reports.
• Perform continuous improvement reviews.
• Analyze production runs and make suggestions for improvement.
• Perform and report on accident investigations.
• Confer with maintenance and production managers daily on production line issues.
• Determine causes and suggest possible solutions.
• Hire, train, coach, and manage the Production team.
• Measure employee and team performance.
• Ensure accident/loss prevention and security policies are followed.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3-4 years of manufacturing experience including supervisory experience.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Excel and Word and SAP.
