The Opportunity: The Fire Safety/Prevention Specialist I provides technical support, promotes, and advances fire and life safety on campus. This position is responsible for assisting with and conducting inspections, supporting and coordinating state fire marshal related activities, conducting event safety assessments, researching Florida Fire Code to ensure compliance to include recommending corrective action as needed, and responding to fire alarm emergencies. The Fire Safety/Prevention Specialist I serves as the fire safety liaison for UCF and outside entities for related activities, permits, and safety training. Responsibilities:
