We're hiring a Director, Financial Planning and Analysis!

Are you ready to take the helm of financial forecasting and planning at an enterprise level? As the Director of Finance, FP&A at Hubbell, you'll be at the forefront of shaping our financial landscape, driving free cash flow, and managing the balance sheet across the corporate segment. This pivotal role offers a direct line to our Executive Leadership team and a chance to spearhead our Global FP&A initiatives, revolutionizing our financial planning and reporting processes and tools.

A Day In The Life

Imagine a day where your strategic decisions directly influence the financial trajectory of a global powerhouse. Here's what you'll get to lead and innovate:




  • Mastermind cash flow forecasting and analysis for the entire enterprise.
  • Spearhead balance sheet and working capital analysis, along with other central initiatives.
  • Drive key initiatives and processes, collaborating with Segment finance teams to ensure accountability for crucial cash flow and working capital metrics.
  • Craft compelling content and presentations for our Board of Directors and CEO council.
  • Navigate forecasting and variance analysis for the Corporate segment, including steering monthly operating reviews.
  • Provide functional and technical leadership for significant, complex work streams.
  • Foster collaboration across groups to harmonize processes and requirements, supporting the development of an integrated planning and reporting framework that includes strategic plans, budgeting, forecasting, and actuals reporting.
  • Engage in ad-hoc FP&A analysis, including P&L analysis, earnings calls, and related activities.


What will help you thrive in this role?

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Over 10 years of leadership experience in finance and accounting, particularly in FP&A, Division Finance, and/or Accounting.
  • Stellar project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
  • A team-oriented mindset with the capability to work independently.
  • A proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams and regularly interfacing with finance professionals at all levels.
  • Proficiency in SAP and OneStream (strongly preferred).
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, along with robust presentation abilities.
  • Keen business acumen with a knack for driving balance sheet and cash flow analysis and building models.
