About this opportunity: In the strategic security execution, you will act as Project Manager and Security Incident Lead responsible for overseeing security-related projects from initiation to completion while managing and responding to security incidents to protect the organization's assets and reputation. This role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles. What you'll do:
- Project Management and Execution: Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for security initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards.
- Cross-Functional Coordination and Communication: Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration across departments, and communicate project updates to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- Post-Project Evaluation and Improvement: Facilitate post-project evaluations and lessons learned to drive continuous improvements.
- Incident Response Leadership and Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for security incidents, leading response efforts and coordinating with internal teams to investigate, contain, and remediate incidents.
- Preparedness and Exercises: Ensure readiness for potential threats by developing incident response plans and protocols, and conducting security exercises to strengthen response capabilities with key stakeholders, including MANA S&T SSO, MANA CSS, MANA NTW, MANA Enterprise Security, and PSIRT.
- Communication and Post-Incident Analysis: Communicate with stakeholders during incidents, providing timely updates and recommendations, and identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Continuous Improvement: Maintain and improve incident response tools and documentation to enhance overall readiness and effectiveness in addressing security incidents.
Skills you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Management, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in project management and cybersecurity, focusing on incident response; a master's degree and relevant certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CISM are preferred.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across IT, Enterprise Security, Product Security (PSIRT), CSDs, legal, compliance, and other relevant departments, enabling effective coordination between internal and external cybersecurity teams.
- Leadership and Team Support: Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement while leading and managing projects and teams effectively.
- Alignment and Compliance: Ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance with relevant security standards and regulations, leveraging a strong understanding of security frameworks, tools, and best practices.
- Training and Awareness: Deliver training and awareness programs to enhance the organization's security posture, supported by excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Project and Incident Management: Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects and incidents simultaneously, prioritizing effectively, and maintaining composure while making decisions under pressure.
