Position Title: Production Supervisor, Material Handling

Location: Onsite. Romulus, MI.



*** Must be willing to Work ALL shifts as required.***


Qualifications:




  • High School diploma required.
  • 1+ years of previous supervision experience.
  • Knowledge or ability to learn current systems (SAP/EWM).
  • Ability to interpret data, evaluate actions, and reach logical conclusions independently.
  • Previous UAW/HVC supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Goal oriented individual.
  • Have Continuous Improvement mind set.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to demand accountability from all employees.

Position Description:

  • Supervisor is expected to work closely with Superintendent and Plant Manager.
  • Responsible for supervising all operations: Inbound, outbound, and claims processing.
  • Responsible for delivering objectives including but not limited to: Cover crews in supervisor's absence, Attend, facilitate, and submit proper documentation for crew meetings, Prepare/maintain work related records as needed, Schedule workforce (including overtime and vacation).

  • Champion and lead continuous improvement initiatives toward best in class performance.

Schedule:



  • Current operational hours are from 6:00 AM until 1:30 AM.
  • Some weekends might be required.
  • Must have the ability to work overtime/adjust schedule as required, as the business dictates.
