Position Description

This exciting new position on the Modine Heating team will play a critical role in driving sales and market penetration of our heating solutions. This role requires a technically proficient individual who can effectively communicate and demonstrate the value of our products to sales representatives, HVAC distributors, and contractors. The ideal candidate will spend 50% of their time traveling to conduct training events, and to support sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct training sessions and presentations on HVAC equipment for sales representatives, distributors, contractors, and students.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the HVAC industry.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to customers and internal sales teams.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.
  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals and product demonstrations.
  • Assist in the development of sales tools and training materials.
Required Education & Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required; with appropriate technical training and/or certifications
  • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HVAC equipment sales or a related technical sales role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment. Experience as an installer preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively (50% of the time) across the US and Canada.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, as applicable.
  • Self-motivated, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
