Summary

The OneStream Solution Network team is seeking a Product Manager for Express Solutions to play a key role in aligning product development with business needs. This position will work closely with developers, and cross-functional teams, serving as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders by translating business requirements into clear, detailed technical specifications.In this role, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing requirements, documenting business processes, workflows, and use cases, and refining solution features. You will also lead development projects that implement product roadmap features and contribute to research that informs the organization's strategy. With strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement, you will drive effective collaboration, facilitate project execution, and support overall business growth. The Solution Network team fosters collaboration across the OneStream ecosystem through the enablement of the creator community, store innovation, and the exploration and configuration of platform use cases and the express paradigm. We will push boundaries through creativity and teamwork with others to advance the impact of OneStream for our stakeholders.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities



  • Gather and analyze requirements from customers and stakeholders using techniques such as interviews, workshops, surveys, job shadowing, and business process reviews.
  • Translate business needs into clear, concise functional requirements, including user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, functional specifications, gap analysis, and workflow diagrams.
  • Design integrated, user-centric solutions that enhance the overall product experience.
  • Lead and facilitate key meetings, including requirements gathering sessions, feature refinement, feature review, and sprint planning.
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and development timelines.
  • Manage project deliverables to ensure on-time and high-quality execution.
  • Create and maintain product documentation, including user manuals, job aids, and training materials, ensuring timely updates and distribution to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support development teams by researching and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Conduct product demos and presentations, showcasing software features and best practices.



Required Education and Experience



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Technology or similar. CPA and/or MBA is a plus.
  • Possess strong oral and written communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with MS Office.
  • Exhibits critical thinking and an analytical background.



Preferred Education and Experience



  • 5+ years of Product Management and Business Analysis experience in enterprise software or related fields.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the following: corporate finance, accounting, finance transformation project management, Corporate Performance Management (CPM) product management, or CPM administration.
  • Strong business and system knowledge, with the ability to integrate insights from multiple disciplines to solve complex business and finance transformation challenges.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new applications, processes, and procedures.
  • Experience working with diverse technologies and application development methodologies, including participation in large-scale projects.
  • Knowledge of finance and accounting domains and how they interconnect to create effective solutions.
  • Expertise in business process analysis and the development of current and future state process models.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and business process optimization abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to persuade and present ideas effectively.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience working in an Agile (SCRUM) environment preferred. Knowledge of Agile associated tools such as Jira, Rally, VSTS and/or other Agile applications is highly desired.
  • Experience as a Project Manager or as a Scrum Master is a plus.

  • Travel Requirements: Occasional travel is required for this role but is expected not to exceed 25%.
