Job Summary |
Join the the Gift Planning Office as a Student Assistant! The Gift Planning Office is part of the Auburn University Foundation, which receives all charitable contributions made in support of and to benefit Auburn University and
AUM.
This position would be best suited for individuals interested in estate planning, finance, communications, and fundraising - but we will play to your strengths! Our department benefits greatly from those who have chosen to study history, data management and hospitality.
We would prefer candidates that have an interest in employment for multiple semesters, who are looking for a resume-building experience, and who understand that non-profits still mean business. Our office hours are 7:45 am to 4:45 pm, daily, excluding most university holidays.
Students who can demonstrate reliability may have the opportunity to work flexible hours. Please apply if you are seeking a multi-disciplinary experience with opportunities for mentorship and networking. |
Essential Functions |
- Stewardship; maintain records; generate reports on data; make appointments for travel; assist office staff with administrative responsibilities.
- You may have the opportunity to partner with another student worker, intern, or temporary employee to complete tasks.

Minimum Qualifications |
- Enrolled student at Auburn University

Preferred Qualifications |
- Proficient with Microsoft Office/Adobe. Flexibility to work at least 1 hour, per business day. Ability to take direction, incorporate feedback and think analytically. May test these skills by interview.

Pay Rate |
$10.00/hour; starting pay, raises contingent on experience, performance and accountability. |
Work Hours |
10-20; hours contingent on performance, accountability, and flexibility of schedule. |
