Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Localization Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end localization process, ensuring high-quality translations and seamless execution. This role involves managing project workflows, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external agencies, and maintaining linguistic assets. The ideal candidate has a strong background in localization project management and is adept at handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Manage the localization project queue from initiation to completion, ensuring timely execution and quality standards.



  • Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to streamline communication and project workflows.



  • Ensure the accurate localization of core global branding and creative content.



  • Oversee translation quality and manage linguistic assets, including glossaries and style guides.



  • Educate internal stakeholders on localization best practices and recommend optimal solutions for their needs.



  • Forecast in-market review schedules and coordinate with local teams.



  • Serve as the first point of escalation for in-market concerns, troubleshooting issues, and driving resolutions.



  • Track project budgets, identify cross-project dependencies, and mitigate risks.



  • Conduct root cause analysis for project issues and implement preventative measures.



  • Ensure projects meet and exceed regional experience expectations.




Qualifications & Skills:




  • 3-5 years of experience in localization project or program management.



  • Proven ability to manage a range of projects, from quick-turnaround tasks to complex, long-term initiatives.



  • Experience with multimedia, software, and creative localization.



  • Proficiency in localization technologies, tools, and workflows.



  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.



  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and make quick, informed decisions.



  • Adaptability in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.



  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.




Education:




  • Bachelor's degree in Localization, Education, Linguistics, or a related field (preferred).
