Workday Reporting & Prism Analyst

The ideal candidate will have a consistent track record in crafting comprehensive reports and dashboards Additionally, the candidate must possess a deep understanding of configuring security settings and roles within Workday to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data.


Summary
  • Offer support and mentorship on standard methodologies for reporting, assisting end-users, resolving issues, and providing necessary training.
  • Develop advanced reports, including creating calculated fields and maintaining dashboards, to deliver accurate data, analytics and insights to the P&C team and the wider organization.
  • Collaborate with other team members on multi-functional projects to determine reporting requirements.
  • Design and develop reporting strategies to includestandard operating procedures for data analysis and reporting.
  • Stay updated on Workday releases, trends, and standard methodologies, actively finding opportunities to optimize reporting and improve processes.
  • Regularly review and optimize report performance for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop Prism Analytics solutions, reports, and dashboards to align with reporting requirements.
  • Leverage Prism Analytics to incorporate data from other systems for comprehensive reporting.
  • Provide guidance on utilizing Workday reporting alongside other ERP systems.

Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience with Workday;Proficiency with Prism Analytics or Advanced Reporting
  • Proven track record of architecting, building, and/or developing reporting solutions.
  • Advanced working knowledge with Advanced, Composite, Matrix and Trending reporting, Calculated Fields, Prism Analytics, Dashboards, Discovery Boards, and Worksheets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,with the ability to translate data into actionable insights, and an understanding of system interdependencies.
  • Superb communication and presentation skills, able to clearly explain complex data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • In-depth knowledge of Workday security concepts,domains,security groups,and roles.
  • Capacity to balance multiple tasks and work on various projects simultaneously.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to maintaining data accuracy and security.
  • Working experience with Data Integration and Data Quality.
  • Experience with Workday HCM functionality, configuring business processes, notifications, validations and condition rules.
  • Experience building and/or maintaining integrations between ERP systems.
  • US Citizenship is Required.

Preferences
  • Workday Certification in at least one of the following: Report Writer, Prism Analytics, or Security.
  • Experience with reporting tools in the areas of data visualization, data analytics, and dashboards.
  • Experience with programming languages.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
