Responsibilities This Director level pharmacist will play a critical role in integrating population health strategies into pharmacy practices to improve patient outcomes, reduce healthcare costs, and enhance the quality of care across diverse patient populations. Unique and core responsibilities for this pharmacy director are strategic direction, financial/budgetary/contractual management and operational oversight for the NHC employee prescription benefit plan (>$110,000,000/yr paid claims, >400,000/yr script volume and >30,000 covered members) and other NHC population-based medication initiatives. This pharmacist will demonstrate the value of population health medication management using contemporary population health management models, data analytics and outcomes measurements. This pharmacist will conceptualize and manage comprehensive medication therapy management services aligned with population health goals through innovating and growing clinical programming. This pharmacist will possess expertise in evolving payer models, contracting, risk management, regulations and compliance. This pharmacist will be committed to achieving and maintaining population health medication management in accordance with the pharmacy department and Norton Healthcare strategic direction.
