Performing all Respiratory Care procedures in the general care setting. The Graduate Respiratory Therapist will deliver patient-centered care under the supervision of an experienced Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) while completing the transition from the Respiratory Therapy Program to independent practice and licensed by the TMB.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved Respiratory Care program.

• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP). Note: GRT cannot do patient care from the time of graduation until licensed verification is received through the TMB (usually 2-4 weeks after graduation).

• Current BLS certification.

• Current ACLS certification.
