Pulmonary & Critical Care Clinic

The Lung Nurse Navigator will be instrumental in coordinating comprehensive care for patients referred to our lung nodule clinic. This role ensures a seamless patient journey from initial referral through diagnosis and treatment, including the management of robotic bronchoscopy for biopsies and any additional required testing.

Key responsibilities:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients referred to the lung nodule program.

- Coordinate care by facilitating communication between patients, healthcare providers, and support services.

- Schedule appointments and diagnostic tests, including robotic bronchoscopy for biopsies, ensuring timely and efficient care delivery.

- Educate patients on lung nodule management, treatment options, and the significance of additional testing prior to procedures.

- Conduct routine follow-ups to monitor patient progress, address concerns, and provide ongoing support.

- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, care plans, and treatment outcomes

Qualifications:

- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license.

- Experience in oncology or pulmonary care preferred.

- Strong organizational and communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
